Week 2, Term 1 marked the successful launch of the Senior School Peer Support Program.

This innovative, student-led initiative provides a supportive environment for Year 7 students who are navigating their transition to secondary school. Our dedicated and trained Peer Support Leaders from Year 11 are available to listen and offer guidance to help these students address their concerns. The program provides a safe and enjoyable setting for the exchange of advice and resources, aimed at fostering positive relationships and promoting overall wellbeing.

The Peer Support Program is an important addition to Macquarie’s commitment to promoting student wellbeing. We believe that this program will provide students with the support they need to thrive, and we are excited to see the positive impact it will have on our school community.
