Position Overview:

We are seeking motivated and energetic individuals to join our team as Casual Boarding Staff. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about providing high-quality care and creating a supportive environment for students. The position requires availability across mornings, afternoons, evenings, and occasional weekends.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide supervision and support for students in the boarding facility.
  • Create a positive, safe, and engaging environment where students feel supported.
  • Foster strong relationships with students, assisting in their academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Support boarding staff in maintaining a high standard of care and wellbeing for students.
  • Ensure the smooth running of daily boarding activities and assist with recreational activities.

 

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Passion for working with young people in a residential setting.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility with working hours, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
  • Previous experience in boarding, education, or childcare is an advantage but not essential.
  • Willingness to obtain an LR (Light Rigid) or MR (Medium Rigid) license.
