A New Principal for Macquarie
We are delighted to announce that following a rigorous selection process, Mrs Alison Mitchell BMusEd, MEd, has been appointed as the next Principal of Macquarie Anglican Grammar School by the School Council and The Anglican Schools Corporation.
Mrs Mitchell has been the Deputy Principal at Macquarie Anglican Grammar School since July 2021, and during that period has also performed the role of Acting Principal during 2022. Further, she has performed the role of Acting Principal from the commencement of 2024 following the resignation of Mr Mansour. Prior to 2021, Mrs Mitchell held a number of leadership positions at the Scots School, Albury, where she was actively engaged in prioritising improved student learning outcomes.

Mrs Mitchell succeeds Mr Craig Mansour, who led the Macquarie Anglican Grammar School with strength, energy and a clear Christian faith for nine years, prior to his move to the role of Principal of The Riverina Anglican College in Wagga Wagga.
