Harmony Day 2022
Students across the school came dressed in bright colours on Monday 28th March to celebrate Harmony Day. Harmony Day is a chance to celebrate diversity and foster inclusiveness. This day was held in conjunction with a Year 12 fundraising effort that included a sausage sizzle, lolly bags, soft drinks and ice block sales, as well as fun activities for students to enjoy in the final two periods of the day.
Activities in the Junior School included jump rope, chalk art, rob the nest, friendship hands, dancing, skipping, handball, paper chains and Kahoot. In the Senior School, students were grouped in Houses and participated in Karaoke, Just Dance sessions, handball and a trivia competition.
The total amount raised was $1,200 and will go to the Year 12 charity, Orana Support Services, a local organisation that provides interim accommodation solutions for homeless people.
