Macquarie Anglican Grammar School

Our da Vinci Decathlon teams had a wonderful time competing at the North-West Region competition at The Armidale School (TAS).

Our Year 8 team achieved an outstanding result, taking out the top spot overall and progressing to the state-level competition at Knox Grammar school in May. The team worked wonders in Art & Poetry, Cartography, English, Science, Mathematics and Legacy earning themselves first place in each. The team also placed an incredible second place in Ideation.

Other highlights include our Year 9 team achieving third in Cartography and Ideation and second in English, our Year 7 team placing third in English and our Years 5 and 6 team achieving fourth place overall, with second place in English, Code Breaking and Engineering, as well as third place in Mathematics.

Our students were a credit to their school and demonstrated exceptional teamwork throughout the day. We are very proud of our teams and wish our Year 8 students well in Sydney at State!
