Macquarie Anglican Grammar School

During Week 8, Year 10 students participated in the Step Up to Stage 6 program. Amongst the week’s activities they successfully completed their Royal Life Saving Australia First Aid Certificate.

This achievement highlights the school’s commitment to the 4Rs Teaching and Learning Framework, particularly the elements of being resourceful and relational. By equipping students with essential first aid skills, the program fosters resourcefulness, empowering them to respond effectively in emergencies. Additionally, the collaborative nature of the training strengthens relational skills, as students worked together to learn, practise and support one another. This milestone reflects the school’s dedication to preparing students with practical, real-world abilities as they transition into Years 11 and 12.
