Macquarie Anglican Grammar School

Our Junior School students participated in the annual Cross Country Carnival held here at Macquarie.

The first event of the day was the 12 Years Boys and Girls. They illustrated being positive role models for the rest of the school by competing and showing resilience as they navigated throughout the course.

The 8, 9, 10 and 11 Years Boys and Girls divisions were hotly contested with some very close results and exhilarating finishes.

No doubt the spectacle of the morning was the Kindergarten to Year 2 races that drew many parent supporters to the event. The Years 1 and 2 students showcased their speed and endurance as they raced one another around the oval, finishing in record times.
