Macquarie Anglican Grammar School

On Thursday 21 July, Macquarie celebrated NAIDOC Day with an extraordinary assembly featuring the theme ‘Get Up, Stand Up, Show Up’ along with local Elders who welcomed us to country and shared stories with our students.

Following this, students participated in activities including Indigenous games, cake decorating, boomerang decorating, face painting and temporary tattoos, hand painting, artefacts and jewellery making. The activities concluded with a sausage sizzle for all.
