NAIDOC Day 2023

28 June 2023
Senior School , Junior School

Thank you to our students and guests for making our 2023 NAIDOC celebrations such a success.

NAIDOC Day plays a significant role in fostering cultural understanding, promoting reconciliation, and recognising the contributions of Indigenous Australians to our nation's heritage and identity. By acknowledging and celebrating NAIDOC Day, we help create an inclusive and respectful environment that values our Indigenous culture and histories.

This year’s NAIDOC theme, ‘For our Elders’, was the key focus for the day; highlighting the significant role Elders play in shaping the future of our communities.

Our students participated in a Flag Raising Ceremony and assembly, and rotated through a range of sessions including traditional art, bush tucker, Dreamtime stories, Indigenous games and many more.
