Macquarie Anglican Grammar School

Last week, we celebrated National Boarding Week 2024 and seized the chance to honour the essential role played by Boarding schools, boarders and their families in our community.

At Macquarie Boarding, the atmosphere was vibrant, with a range of activities marking the occasion, from special morning teas to ‘Boarder for an Afternoon’ events and a recognition ceremony at assembly for our student leaders.

Emeline M. was appointed as our Boarding Captain and tasked with leading the Boarding Representative Council (BRC), nurturing the Boarding house's cultural atmosphere, and serving as a point of contact for younger students. Joining Emeline, BRC members were presented with their badges and dedicated themselves to enhancing the Boarding experience and advocating for the interests of the Boarding community.

Congratulations to our wonderful Boarding leaders! Lastly, a huge thank you to our Head of Boarding, Mr Kinscher, and our Boarding staff team for their leadership and commitment to creating a nurturing home away from home.
