Macquarie Anglican Grammar School

Congratulations to our Ruby Sevens teams that competed in the Western Region Rugby Sevens Gala Day held at Apex Oval Dubbo on Monday 12 September.

Our Stage 3 team finished with three wins against St Mary’s Dubbo 2, Dubbo Public and Wellington Public School. They had a narrow loss to the more experienced St Mary’s 1, 6-2.

Our Stage 2 team finished undefeated with strong wins against Orange Anglican Grammar School and Orana Heights Public School.

Both teams showcased excellent skills and more importantly, great sportsmanship.

Thank you to Mark Davies for taking the time to coach and assist our Stage 2 team.

Our Secondary teams also played in the tournament at Apex Oval, Dubbo.

The Under 13 Years Boys were undefeated in all four games, wining against Orange Anglican Grammar School, Dubbo Christian School and Red Bend.

Our Under 15 Years Girls, with many playing for the first time, had one win against Orange and three loses.

The Under 15 Years Boys won two games, both against Orange Anglican Grammar School and narrowly went down to Red Bend and lost to St Johns.
